(MIMUL) was set-up in the year 1977 under Operation Flood program of West Bengal Government with the objective of uplifting the unorganized rural Milk Producers’ through socio economic development, by organizing Primary Milk Co-operative Societies and strengthening them for increasing milk production, processing and marketing of milk and milk products.

In the present scenario of the technological age, it’s a great pleasure to announce that the Midnapore Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Ltd i e MIMUL is launching its website. Since 1977, MIMUL- the Midnapore Milk Union has given a true and sustainable direction towards socio-economic development in the rural life of the dairy farmers in erstwhile Midnapore District by uniting unorganized milk producers in the organized Anand pattern three tier cooperative structure.
In spite of many challenges and inequities related to animal husbandry support and trust, Paschim Medinipur district has witnessed a substantial growth in milk production and MIMUL has been playing a significant role in socio economic development in the district by providing assured milk marketing facilities to the rural dairy farmers through organization of Primary Milk Co-operative Societies in the villages and catering to the demand of fresh milk and milk products to the consumers.
